I’ve helped organise an eBay public sale of movie star memorabilia and bric-a-brac. In an try and be funny, I’ve referred to as it a Star Boot Sale, but don’t let that put you off…
Tim Burgess, Alex Turner, Paul McCartney, David Arnold, Noel Gallagher, Marcus Mumford, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, forged members from Vikings and Video games of Thrones and lots of others have been type sufficient to donate issues. Cash raised will go to assist ease the plight of refugees from the Syrian conflict.
Over 11 million Syrians have been displaced by the warfare, many to neighbouring nations. Lebanon alone has taken in over one million individuals, scattered across the country, many in very poorest areas.
Money raised will go to The International Rescue Committee, a charity offering help to 3 million individuals both inside Syria, and in Turkey, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq. They've 3000 employees and volunteers on the bottom within the affected areas. All sale proceeds will go on to these in need.
