Damon and DJ Koze, Pure Love
Pure Love is the primary single from German DJ and producer DJ Koze’s upcoming album, Music Can Hear Us (out April 4, 2025). DJ Koze is a fan of Damon - you may keep in mind his great remix of the Gorillaz monitor Humility and his contribution to Arte’s 2021 documentary The Magic Voices of Pop, the place he shared his admiration for Damon’s voice.
The enigmatic press release says that the collaboration was born from an sudden encounter in a salt mine in Peru, where DJ Koze and Damon Albarn crossed paths by probability (imagine that!)
The Pure Love EP, releasing on December 20, will embrace two further variations of the monitor (Night time Version and Day Version).
