Damon Albarn’s appearance at Roskilde music pageant on four July ended with an intervention, when the Blur frontman refused to go away the stage during a five-hour set.

Closing the annual event in Denmark, Albarn and his Africa Categorical collective – which incorporates Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ Nick Zinner, Seye Adelekan and Songhoy Blues - launched into an epic efficiency that lasted till 4am.
