I feel when Damon put his vocals on, and I put my backing vocals on – that’s what makes Blur Blur. All of the sudden, it’s like, ‘Woah, it feels like Blur’. However kind of more like men. (…) I feel the voices are deeper, perhaps richer. There’s a wierd vulnerability, but there’s type of a power. It’s an fascinating factor to be part of. But extraordinarily constructive. I assumed we have been getting on nice – there was plenty of laughing in the studio, plenty of fooling around. We had to snort and be foolish because it was intense. You’ve received to have occasions once you’re simply being an idiot.
